Overview of VD Solenoid Driver
Overview:
This is a replacement for the Von Duprin module/circuit breaker to power the EL solenoid. It must be supplied with 24VDC only. The input is polarity sensitive, but if wired incorrectly, there will be no damaged done. It just will not work. There is one LED to indicate when power is being supplied.
Installation:
Start with cutting the wires off the old module.
Input wires:
Wire positive to the “+” terminal and the negative to the “-” terminal. Not to worry, if this is wrong, it will not work, just need to switch the wires.
Output wires V1:
Match the color for all 3 wires.
Version 2 has a connector, so just plug in the solenoid.
